Fans attending tonight's Bronco football home opener at 7pm--We're thankful to the City of Lisbon for fogging for mosquitos at the field last night as the bugs have been heavy at the field this week, but fans may still want to come prepared for bugs to be out.
Go Broncos!

Here is the agenda for tonight's School Board meeting at 7:30pm in the HS conference room.

All School registration is Open! Please log in to your Parent PowerSchool account to complete the registration forms.

If you need assistance, our in-person Help Desk hours are Wednesday, Aug. 7th from 11:00-7:00 and Thursday, Aug. 8th from 10:00-2:00 at the High School Library.
You may also call the office for assistance with your log in information. Thank you!

Attention parents!
Have you recently had a change in income or are you interested in learning more about school meals at no charge? If so, keep reading for some helpful information!
Attached is the link to our free and reduced lunch application materials. To apply, we need the printed, completed, and signed application (if you do not have a printer, we have copies available in the high school office). If a child qualifies for school meals at no charge during any period of the current academic year, they will remain enrolled in the program for the entire school year.
If your child qualifies, but later, your situation changes and you would like to pay it forward, you are always welcome to contribute to our “angel fund” to help other children and families in need.
New this year: if your child qualifies for school meals at no charge, each member of your family will be eligible to receive a free activity ticket. To receive your ticket, we need the completed information release form, as well.
Your information will not be shared and all school meals at no charge information remains confidential.
In addition to the free activity tickets, there are additional benefits to families and the school based on qualifying for school meals at no charge. Students who qualify may also be eligible for testing vouchers, dual credit course discounts, and various other benefits. The school district receives Title 1 funds and federal food rates based on qualifying numbers, which help fund reading and math interventions districtwide.
If you have any questions or to submit completed applications, please contact Nikki Kenyon at nikki.kenyon@k12.nd.us or 701-683-4106.

Here is some information regarding free summer meals available for Lisbon area youth and teens.
Arrangements could be made to deliver meals to the school to be distributed to youth attending summer school activities.
We are hoping meals are made available to many youths this summer!
Meals will be available for pickup by youth or parents / Guardians.
Youth will receive up to seven days worth of meals.
The meals are Nutritious Shelf-Stable meals. All meal entrees are pre-packaged, shelf stable meals. These kid-friendly, nutritious and tasty meals come ready to serve in convenient resealable bag or box with utensils included. Meals are served with a milk.
No refrigeration is needed. Each meal provides all of the nutrition children need, and met USDA federal guidelines.

More congratulations are in order for Mrs. Ashley Nudell as the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction has selected her the 2024 Ransom County Teacher of the Year! Lisbon High School is lucky to have such an admirable teacher leader in our district!

Today, some of our talented art students delivered May Day “baskets” made from clay flowers (shout out to Lisbon Fire Department for the donation towards our kiln!) they created in class to the Beverly Ann to help brighten their days.

Congratulations to Mrs. Nudell on winning a National Master Adviser Award for her superb work with our LHS FCCLA chapter!

Don't forget to return your Butterfly Ball registration to Mrs. Knipple tomorrow! For boys and girls and their favorite adults, the Science in Costa Rica group is very excited to host this year's butterfly ball and to offer prizes and games! We hope to see you there!
