Thursday's game will now be at Hope starting at 4. Senior Night for our six Bronco Senior softball players will follow the switch and take place before Monday afternoon's games. New Superintendent of Public Instruction Levi Bachmeier visited Lisbon Public Schools today as part of his quest to visit every operating school district in the state. After a tour of our campus, he started his visit with members of our Superintendent's Student Advisory Cabinet, discussing the great things we have going on in Lisbon Public Schools and the future of education in North Dakota. He continued his visit with a roundtable meeting with various district leaders, including teachers and administration representing all three buildings, before spending time in 2025 North Dakota Teacher of the Year finalist Hannah Sagvold's classroom. We thoroughly enjoyed having Superintendent Bachmeier here at LPS and appreciate his vision for and dedication to public education in North Dakota. As always, it's a Great Day to be a Bronco!

We are thrilled to share that Lisbon Elementary School has been recognized as one of the top 10% of public schools in North Dakota based on statewide accountability measures under the Every Student Succeeds Act. This is an outstanding achievement and a moment of great pride for our entire school community.

This recognition highlights the incredible work happening every day at Lisbon Elementary. Our dedicated teachers and staff, strong school leadership, supportive families, and hardworking students have created a culture focused on learning, growth, and success. Being named among the top-performing schools in the state is a powerful reflection of that collective commitment.

We are extremely proud of the passion, professionalism, and care our staff bring to their work, and we celebrate the perseverance and effort of our students who make achievements like this possible. Honors like this affirm that our focus on continuous improvement and high expectations is making a meaningful difference for children.

Thank you to everyone who plays a role in supporting Lisbon Elementary School. This accomplishment belongs to our entire community, and we look forward to continuing this momentum as we serve our students.
