The parade route will be slightly different this year:
1. Start at 6th Avenue West and Prospect
2. Turn left on to Main Street
3. Turn Left on THIRD Avenue West
4. Turn Left on Oak Street
5. Turn Right on Highway 27
6. End at Highway 27 and Prospect

The National Council for History Education TPS Grant announces Lisbon Public Schools as recipient!

In collaboration with Dr. Steven Johnson, Lisbon Public Schools is proud to announce it has been awarded a prestigious TPS Grant in the amount of $25,000! This grant will provide unique, relevant experiences for 275 students in grades 7–12 as they embark on A Walking Tour of North Dakota.

This hands-on project blends classroom learning with field trips across the state, allowing students to explore North Dakota’s rich history, culture, and government. Using primary sources from the Library of Congress, students will delve into topics such as Native American history, westward expansion, and local heritage—then bring their learning to life through projects, presentations, and digital exhibits. 🗺️📚

Ransom County Fair is still going with the NDRA Rodeo tonight. Parking is going to be at a premium.

A heads up for all fans attending the home opener football game on Friday-- mosquitos are bad at the football field. The city is spraying and doing everything in their power to beat them back but with the moisture this summer it is an uphill battle. People will want to be prepared with bug spray.

Registration is OPEN for the 2025-2026 School Year.
