Congratulations to the Lisbon Drama Team for placing 2nd at the Region I contest yesterday! Also, congrats to Cailen and Nolan who received Superior Acting Awards and Lily who received an Honorable Mention for Superior Acting.

The team will be presenting their play "Fish Tales" by Beth Ann Powers tomorrow (Friday, November 6th) at 7:30 pm in the high school commons. Admission is free-will offering, and all are welcome to attend.

Christmas Magnet fundraiser!

Our students submitted original Christmas artwork, and these 6 have been selected to be on magnets for a Christmas fundraiser for the Art department to help fund potential future projects.

Magnets will be 3"x3" and will be $5 each or all six in a set for $25.

Paper order forms will also be available in all three buildings.

Last evening, representatives from Lisbon Public Schools joined educators, administrators, and school board members from across District 24 for a Public Education Roundtable in Valley City.

We appreciated the opportunity to engage in positive and productive conversations with our District 24 legislators and North Dakota State Superintendent Levi Bachmeier. These discussions provided valuable opportunities to exchange perspectives, discuss educational priorities, and strengthen communication in support of public education.

A special thank you to our Lisbon Public Schools employees and representatives who took time out of their busy schedules to participate. Your involvement and commitment to our students and school district are sincerely appreciated!

Today was a special day as we celebrated two incredible members of the Lisbon Public Schools family, Nikki Kenyon and Kortney Groettum Vesel, as they received their Business Manager Certification Awards. This recognition is so well deserved. Being a school business manager is a tremendous responsibility, and both Nikki and Kortney approach that responsibility with professionalism, dedication, and a genuine commitment to doing what is best for our students and our district. I’m incredibly proud of both of them. They work behind the scenes on so many things that most people never see, helping keep our district financially responsible, organized, and moving in the right direction. Their hard work makes a difference every single day. Congratulations, Nikki and Kortney! You have both earned this recognition, and I’m extremely fortunate to have you on our team.
