Here is some information regarding free summer meals available for Lisbon area youth and teens.
Arrangements could be made to deliver meals to the school to be distributed to youth attending summer school activities.
We are hoping meals are made available to many youths this summer!
Meals will be available for pickup by youth or parents / Guardians.
Youth will receive up to seven days worth of meals.
The meals are Nutritious Shelf-Stable meals. All meal entrees are pre-packaged, shelf stable meals. These kid-friendly, nutritious and tasty meals come ready to serve in convenient resealable bag or box with utensils included. Meals are served with a milk.
No refrigeration is needed. Each meal provides all of the nutrition children need, and met USDA federal guidelines.


Students who are interested in Molecular Biology Bootcamp, June 10-13th, 2024 from 9a - 3:30p should apply by the end of today. The application is simple and can be done online with the following link. The Camp is sponsored and funded by UND and is a paid opportunity for students looking to add some cool lab experience to their student portfolios. The cap for applicants is 16 students, and is for current 9-11th graders who have taken and passed Biology 9.

The Missoula Children's Theatre is back and looking for students (k-12) to participate in the play, "King Arthur's Quest". Students interested are asked to return the registration form signed by a guardian by Friday, May 10th. More information will follow.

Also, Saturday’s JH track meet starts at 10:00 am instead of 11:00 am as we originally had listed on our schedule.

More congratulations are in order for Mrs. Ashley Nudell as the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction has selected her the 2024 Ransom County Teacher of the Year! Lisbon High School is lucky to have such an admirable teacher leader in our district!


Today, some of our talented art students delivered May Day “baskets” made from clay flowers (shout out to Lisbon Fire Department for the donation towards our kiln!) they created in class to the Beverly Ann to help brighten their days.



Congratulations to Mrs. Nudell on winning a National Master Adviser Award for her superb work with our LHS FCCLA chapter!

Please be advised the Junior High track meet scheduled for Monday, April 29 in Oakes has been cancelled due to predicted weather and the rain they have already received. There will be no make-up date scheduled at this time.

Schedule change!
Due to the weather forecast, Sisseton moved their varsity track meet scheduled on Friday to Thursday at 11:00 am. We will not be attending the Sisseton meet.
Instead, our varsity track team will be attending the Oakes meet on Thursday, April 25th starting at 2:30.

Prom is this Saturday, April 20th!
Join us for Grand March beginning at 7:30 in the Main Gym. Doors will open to the public at 7pm.
Students attending prom need to be to the Armory by 7pm.

Valley City State University representatives stopped in today to talk with our dual credit students and congratulate them on their hard work throughout the school year. Thirteen students were awarded the College Certificate, earning 24+ college credits while in high school. Special shout out to Ava for completing enough credits to earn her Associates Degree. Congratulations students!!
